Every Pickleball player knows the feeling: in a world dominated by tennis, us dinkers are often made to feel like second class citizens, feeding off the table scraps that our highly-strung contemporaries leave behind. Distant and disheveled courts, or courts so marked with other lines that they induce nausea.

It’s in this world that ‘In a Pickle’ takes place.

Our hero, tech mogul Nick Dickens, is obsessed with pickleball, moves his family to North Carolina to reconnect with his roots. There, he clashes with former tennis pro Angel Ramirez, who despises the sport. The battle over a pickleball center escalates into a high-stakes match between Nick’s ragtag team of local misfits and Angel’s elite players. Amidst hilarious antics and personal transformations, "In a Pickle" is a comedic tale of rivalry, family, and the unexpected bonds formed on the court.
