Every Pickleball player knows the feeling: in a world dominated by tennis, us dinkers are often made to feel like second class citizens, feeding off the table scraps that our highly-strung contemporaries leave behind. Distant and disheveled courts, or courts so marked with other lines that they induce nausea.

It’s in this world that ‘In a Pickle’ takes place. When a California family moves to Florida to pursue their pickleball dreams, they run headlong into a tennis club that wants nothing to do with them. Forced to take drastic action to find equal footing, our heroes have to overcome the odds, and work together as a team to secure the future the sport deserves.

Standing in their way is a former Tennis pro who lives and breathes for the red dust of the claycourt. With the threat of this sport encroaching on his sacred club, he’s faced with the dilemma of choosing his legacy over his inheritance. Will he make the right decision?
